St. Michael Archangel parish church in Stražeman is located on a hill at the foot of Papuk, providing, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful vistas of Požega and Požega valley. The earliest historical record of the church was made in 1332, and it represents a cultural monument of the 1st category. The church contains tombs and monuments to noble family Janković, who had taken custody of beautification and development of that church, as witnessed by numerous historical records.

The church contains a valuable Way of the Cross, a chasuble of count Janković, “Beheading of St. John the Baptist” painting by Ivan Tišov, organ made by a craftsman from Požega, while more recent additions include a mosaic depicting significant figures of Croatian ecclesiastic and secular history, with image of blessed Alojzije Stepinac occupying a prominent place.
